A legendary music label, a hard touring jam band and a famous Mexican singer will be the opening acts for the Grammy Museum when the downtown Los Angeles venue reopens its doors May 21.

“I can’t wait for people to come in and finally see these exhibits. Just to get in and watch people walking around and commenting on things is going to be such a refreshing sight,” said Bob Santelli, the founding executive director of the museum who curated the main opening exhibition “Motown: The Sound of Young America,” which will be on view through January 2022.

Santelli also curated another opening exhibit;  “Dave Matthews Band: Inside and Out,” which is on view through December 2021. The final exhibit rounding out the opening trio is  “Y Para Siempre… Marco Antonio Solís,” which is on display through April 2022.
